Tinsley Mortimer Says Goodbye To Real Housewives Of New York So She Can Move To Chicago And Marry Sc
Tinsley Mortimer has officially ended her run on Real Housewives of New York. The Bravolebrity announced on Instagram Friday morning that the most recent episode was her last, and she is now moving to Chicago to be with her fiance, Coupon Cabin CEO Scott Kluth.
Mortimer broke the news by posting a video of Kluth’s proposal, along with a series of photos from her four seasons of RHONY.

“Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all my fans and friends who supported me and are happy for my fairy tale ending. Without #RHONY, I would never have met my prince charming, Scott. Being a Housewife 🍎 was such a fun experience, and I thank @bravoandy and all the wonderful people at Shed Media and @bravotv. I love you all so much!!! 💖 .” wrote Mortimer in the caption.
Around the same time that Kluth proposed in November 2019, rumors started to swirl that Mortimer’s time on RHONY was coming to an end. She skipped out on the cast trip to Mexico in December, and she also missed filming for about a month prior to the vacation.
Mortimer and Kluth met through her RHONY co-star Carole Radziwill during Season 9, but they were always on-again, off-again because of their long-distance relationship. However, now they are very much on and preparing to tie the knot.
During Season 12 of RHONY, Mortimer’s tagline has been: “Life isn’t a fairytale, but I’m hoping mine’s the exception.” She has made it clear this season that at the end of the day, she wants to be Kluth. And, she has finally gotten her happy ending.
During the latest episode, fans watched as Mortimer packed up her hotel room, left New York City, and headed to Chicago to be with Kluth.
“With Scott, so much has happened so fast,” she said during the episode. “But I know that if I don’t take this moment right now, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life. And I have to listen to myself and what I want and nobody else.”

The episode was shot in late October 2019, and at dinner with her RHONY co-stars Mortimer declared that she and Kluth were “100 percent” back together. Some of the ladies did give Tinsley Mortimer their blessing – as did her mom, Dale Mercer.
Mortimer says that she has changed so much since going back to New York and moving into Sonja Morgan’s townhouse. She explained that it took some time, but she finally feels like herself again. She says that she is confident, and she doesn’t think any of it would have happened without “all the little bumps along the way.”

“Thank you, mugshot. Thank you, Sonja. Thank you, townhouse. Thank you, everybody else along the way. And it’s been a great ride. And I’m just so happy for where I am right now and so excited for my future,” said Mortimer.
