Kramer's ideal food day? "Two eggs over easy with some avocado toast and fresh squeezed OJ. I'm not much of a lunch girl, but I snack throughout the day – apples, cottage cheese, carrots and hummus, almonds…I'm always snacking. I love a good hearty dinner: Salmon with risotto or a strip steak and a sweet potato with a kale salad. Okay, now I'm hungry!" she told the New Potato.
"I love to hike outside. Recently, I've really enjoyed running again. I honestly find barre workouts overrated," she told New Potato. "Being active and engaging in regular aerobic exercise is important for overall heart health and wellness. Typically, 30 minutes of moderate intensity activity five days a week is recommended for most healthy adults. Running is a simple, low-cost exercise, and you should be commended for starting a new exercise regimen," says the Mayo Clinic.
Kramer's go-to snacks are apples and almonds. Great choices. "There's serious nutrition power in the crunch of almonds," Toby Smithson, MS, RDN, LD, CDCES, FAND, Diabetes Lifestyle Expert with DiabetesEveryDay, and author of Diabetes Meal Planning and Nutrition for Dummies, told our sister site Eat This, Not That!. "Ounce for ounce, almonds are the tree nut with the most fiber (4 grams), vitamin E (50%of your daily value), and riboflavin (25% DV). They're also one of the highest sources of hard-to-get magnesium (20% DV). And, they offer 6 grams of plant protein in every healthy handful."
"In addition to walking and running, Kramer has professed her love for hiking, swimming, and group workouts like Zumba in the past, as well as personal training sessions with celebrity trainer Erin Oprea, with whom she continued her workouts during her pregnancies," says ETNT. Dance classes can be a great way to stay fit. "Aerobic exercise provides cardiovascular conditioning. The term aerobic actually means 'with oxygen,' which means that breathing controls the amount of oxygen that can make it to the muscles to help them burn fuel and move," says the Cleveland Clinic.
After sharing a photo of baby food on a supermarket conveyor belt, Kramer got comments criticisng her choice. "Dear Mommy Shamers," she wrote in a handwritten note shared online. "Unless you are Jolie's doctor, her father, or her mom, do NOT tell me how to raise my child, or how to feed her. Sincerely, Jolie's MOM." She added: "I have been very open with pictures of my daughter and our journey because my true fans have been on my journey from day one and I want them to be a part of my new journey now," she explains. "If you have negative comments about how I parent my child, keep it to yourself!!"
