Chahatt maintains that ditching carbohydrates did her body good. "The body feels amazing," she told Telangana Today about how going on the Keto diet helped improve her energy. "I consulted a dietitian and it's very important to do it right. It can otherwise have the opposite adverse effects. I am working day in and day out and I feel I am just getting started. There are multiple things on my plate and it's a good feeling to have."
Chahatt spends a lot of time exercising. "Exercise is just not just going to the gym, but keeping it fit and healthy. I take long walks with my dogs — that keeps me fit, while yoga (pranayams, stretching and breathing exercises) keeps me toned," she told Times of India. "Work hard , workout hard , party hard, Love harder ! whatever u do , do it with Passion," she captioned this video of her workout.
Chahatt is also a big fan of getting her zen on for mental health. "I meditate regularly and that helps me remain positive and cheerful. My strength is my stamina. I can manage to be active even after 12-hour shoots," she told Times of India.
Eve when Chahatt isn't on keto, she eats very healthy. "For breakfast I eat oats or muesli with milk or sometimes egg white with toasted white bread. After half-an-hour I have a fresh mixed-vegetable and fruit juice. For lunch, I prefer dal, rotis and vegetables with a bowl of cucumber raita. If I eat rice, then its regular white rice with dal, vegetables, curds and no rotis. I also prefer drinking butter milk instead of tea or coffee. I have a bowl of fruits and dry fruits or a grilled chicken sandwich if I feel hungry in the evenings. For dinner I like soup, grilled fish or chicken, roti and lots of curd," she dished to Times of India.
Chahatt is a big believer in moderation. "I am a complete foodie, and love cooking and eating. I don't deny myself from eating anything, but in moderation. I believe in eating right at regular intervals," she told Times of India.
Chahatt focuses on drinking enough water. "I start my day with hot water with lemon and honey," she told Times of India. In total, she makes sure to drink five liters of water daily. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
